How the shadow
shapes what
you see

Shadow is the relentless descent into yourself. You analyse, you reflect, you heal, and you stay in it until the beliefs and the ideas and the experiences you no longer want stop running your life. It is where you let go of the history that ties you down and restricts you from every future version of yourself. Shadow work goes further than healing and fixing. It is the awareness of self that you refuse to look away from.

Why marketing is ruining your strategy.

The starting point

The shadow is a lens

It is everything running underneath the part of you that thinks it is doing the choosing. The stories you repeat without hearing yourself repeat them. The survival patterns built into you when you were young, before you had anything else to use. And the reactions to everything that you do not realise are part of the programming.

It stays hidden because hiding is the point. Every one of those patterns was a solution once. Something happened, you found a way through it, and the way through became automatic so you would never have to work it out again under pressure. Then the pressure passed and the pattern stayed, still active, still solving a problem that closed years ago.

You never meet the world directly. You meet your read of it, and the shadow is doing a great deal of that reading. It decides what counts as a threat and what counts as safe. It decides which version of a conversation you take with you. Two people can sit through the same afternoon and walk away with two entirely different afternoons, and both of them will be certain they were there.

What you call reality is mostly your own unexamined material, reflected back at you.

You find it in what triggers you. In what you defend hardest. In the things you are afraid to do, where the fear arrives with a reason attached and the reason sounds sensible every time. In the thing you cannot stand in someone else, which is almost always the thing you have refused to look at in yourself. Those reactions feel like information about other people. They are information about you, and it is the most reliable you will ever get, because the shadow cannot help responding.

The work

Bring it into view

Nothing will change while the pattern stays invisible. The first move is always the same. You stop identifying with the voice in your head and you start listening to it instead. Let it speak without arguing back. It will tell you exactly what it believes, and you will hold it as truth.

Then you keep going until you find your own version of truth. For every line the shadow hands you there is one that holds up when you examine it. Say it out loud until your body agrees with you and not just your head. This is accuracy more than resolution. You are swapping a belief you formed under pressure for one you chose.

Belief is the part people skip. Agreeing with an idea and living from it are two different things, and only repetition and action move you from one to the other. You will know because the situation stops triggering you. That is the test.

Then you use it. Shadow stops being what you manage and becomes the fastest read you have on yourself. Something reacts in you, and instead of defending it you follow it down and find what it is protecting. Every time you do that you take back a piece of your own architecture.

The shadow kept you alive. Once you can see it, it will show you exactly where to build.

This plays out across every area of a life and it looks different in each one. What holds in money looks nothing like what holds in intimacy. That is why the work is done area by area.

The nine experiences

Meet your boundaries

Each of these areas can show you what you are still holding onto and claiming as yours. Some you may have never looked at because it has always been there.

Step 1

Click on each of these tiles to see what they are about.

Step 2

Write down everything you believe about this area of your life. Is it what you expected or wanted? Does it need to be changed or updated?

Step 3

Look at some of the ideas you have about these things and consider where they came from. Who taught you about family or money? Have you met your inner child?

Step 4

Make a statement for each of these tiles. What do you truly believe, or what do you want to achieve in that area of your life?

Step 5

Start moving toward it.

ID

Intimacy and Desire

There are many connections to these, but only one will outlive the others. This is the delicate part of who you are, the most vulnerable and sometimes secret. The parts that you may not allow to be expressed enough.

FB

Family Bonds

Blood is not always thicker than water. We make our own choices on who we want to connect with. Relation does not dictate choice. You are responsible for being who you are and blood is not the only determinator.

MM

Money and Matter

Money is a form of energy. The things you want may seem material in nature, but the collective created the belief in its power. What you want and have can be anything you desire. It is an after effect of being your exact self.

KE

Knowledge and Expansion

We are not stationary as we are constantly evolving. Following the path to current desires opens a journey of seeking more. You cannot stay still even in the place you want to be. Learn more, experience more and live more.

SG

Spiritual Growth

Your connection to your beliefs creates everything around you with your life, choices, appearance, and actions. Connect with the part of you that extends beyond all possibilities, by being open to the endless possibilities.

BM

Body and Movement

Look after your body in your own way. Listen to your body to find what it likes, what it doesn't, and when it wants to move. Align the physical self with the emotional, energetic, and etheric to create a system that works for you.

IC

Inner Child

You have to have fun and enjoy what you are doing. Act like you have no worries. Do things that bring pure happiness. Ask the child “What do you want to do now?” and don't say no. What is the point of living if you are not enjoying it.

BR

Business Representation

Business should be an extension of you. If you don't love it, do something else. It isn't about the money, commute, or hours. Settling for less than what you want is giving up. Create the assets that become your legacy.

CO

Connection to Others

Connections can be to one person or many over lifetimes. It involves your own codes and personal luminescence bubbling to the surface. Connecting to things if only for a moment may be exactly what you need to move to the next experience.

The tool

Nine areas, one plan

MT9 helps you turn something you want into something you can actually move toward.

Choose one of the nine areas of your life, describe what you want to change or complete, and decide what meaningful progress would look like after 21 days. MT9 then creates a practical series of steps based on your available time, circumstances and priorities.

The purpose is not to create the perfect plan. It is to give you a clear place to begin and help you keep moving when life changes.

How to use MT9

Choose the area of your life you want to focus on.

Tell MT9 what you are moving toward, what progress would look like after 21 days, how much time you have available and anything the plan needs to take into account.

You can ask MT9 to create the steps for you or write all 21 steps yourself.

Read through the plan before starting. Every step can be changed, moved or skipped. You remain in control of the process.

Each day, open MT9 and focus on the step in front of you. Mark it complete when it is done, add a note if useful, or adjust the plan when something no longer fits.

Progress is not about following the plan perfectly. It is about staying connected to what you chose and continuing to respond honestly.

Your privacy

Your current plan and progress are saved privately in your browser on the device you are using.

MT9 does not currently require an account. Your information is not visible to other visitors and is not used to build a profile about you.

Because the plan is stored locally, it will not automatically appear on another device. Clearing your browser data may also remove it.

Optional private syncing will be introduced separately for people who want to access their plan across devices.

Work with me

The other doors

Then there is structure

Shadow turns inward. Structure presents outward, and it is where everything you surface in here gets a shape you can use. I built both of them together, and every framework I have came out of running one against the other.

Where you go next is your choice.

Follow the work

Nothing about you is hidden from you.
You are the one looking away.
